
PROGRAMME
A typical one-hour session consists of:
* 10 minutes of Know the Body and Know the Ball exercises
* 10 minutes of Know the Game exercises such as 1v1, 2v1 and 2v2 skill activities
* 40 minutes of small sided games incorporating Know the Body, Know the Ball and Know the Game aspects
* Homework set
In skill activities and games, players are usually paired or grouped according to their ability, speed and strength in order to provide appropriate challenges to all players, and maximise enjoyment and learning.

Small sided games, with modified rules
In some activities we use two goals at each end of the pitch rather than just one. This means the players have to make decisions about which goal to attack, and how best to defend. The result is better decision making skills, a better understanding of space and movement, and more changes of direction to fool the opposition!
